WALTER RILEY KING is a professional woodwind musician residing in Omaha, NE. He received his education from MEMPHIS PUBLIC SCHOOLS, BERKELEY SCHOOL OF MUSIC, and TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY. Walter's performance history includes: Lena Horne, The Temptations, The Dells, Gladys Knight, Dr. John, U2, The Nancy Wilson Orchestra, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Grand Ol’Opry, Muscle Shoals Horns, and over 35 years with B.B. King and his Orchestra. Walter has an extensive recording history as well with artists such as Etta James, Eric Clapton, Joe Tex, Denise LaSalle, Billy Ocean, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Oak Ridge Boys, Mac Davis, Albert King, Roy Clark, Z.Z. Hill, and Hot. Prior to his professional career as a performer, Walter worked as a music educator in the Nashville Public Schools.
