Tomi Martin is a guitarist, writer, music director and a seasoned studio session player. Studio and stage are two very different worlds and not many musicians can be equally comfortable, and equally effective in both. Tomi transitions easily from studio to stage. This has helped develop his reputation as both a session guitarist and musical director for concert tours, television specials and feature film projects.

Tomi draws on a background influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, David Foster, Billie Holliday, and Lenny Kravitz to blend rock, pop, R&B and hard funk into solid tracks with musical hooks that help make hit records. His unique guitar work and creative support have been a huge part of successful records and world tours for such artists as John Legend, Natalie Cole, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Madonna, TLC, Michael Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Donell Jones, Mista, En Vogue, Jennifer Lopez,Toni Braxton, Indigo Girls, Mick Jagger, Monica, Justin Bieber, New Edition, Fishbone, Curtis Mayfield and T Pain. Tomi played live with Prince at Madison Square Garden and Prince played Tomi's guitar - a black Charvelle Jackson guitar during this incredible event.
To date, Tomi has played on seven Grammy nominated albums, five of which are Grammy winners.
Tomi's current project with long time collaborator, songwriter, vocalist and performer Trina Meade is the rock and alternative band Three5Human. The band includes seasoned musicians, Melvin "Melly" Baldwin and Sean Michael Ray. You can find their music on most streaming channels including Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeart, Deezer as well as YouTube.
Tomi is the guitarist and music director for Curtis Harding's band. They joined Rufus Du Sol at the Hollywood Bowl. Tomi performed with Curtis at the Blues and Brews Festival in Telluride Colorado with RB Artists Samantha Fish and Buddy Guy. Tomi and Curtis joined Pink, Jack White and 35+ performers at the Ohana Festival founded by Eddie Vedder. It was a beautiful weekend of music!
