Growing up in Memphis, TN, Tarron Crayton found music to be an escape from the harsh realities of life. Raised in the church, Tarron began playing music (gospel) at an early age. He first played drums and later decided that he wanted to learn bass guitar. At age 15, Tarron fell completely in love with the bass guitar and became the bassist for his home church, Temple Of Holiness Apostolic Faith Church. As he got older, he began branching out to various genres.
In 2006, Tarron graduated from high school and left home to attend University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he joined the Jazz ensemble. After 2 years, Tarron decided to leave college to move back to Memphis to focus on becoming a professional musician. In 2009, he began playing professionally at Club 152, a well-known nightclub on the famous Beale St in Memphis, TN. In April of 2011, he moved to California to pursue his lifelong dream of touring and producing. After only two months of living in LA, he was asked to play for Alicia Keys at the 2011 BET Awards and at Jamie Foxx live XM radio, The Foxxhole, where numerous artists sang and performed.
Tarron has played with a number of different artists such as Memphis legendary rapper, Juicy J (Three6Mafia), Ciara, Post Malone, Grammy award winning Christian artist, Israel Houghton and New Breed, Teyana Taylor (Debut album VII “Out of my League”), TI, TDE artist SZA, Sebastian Mikael, Adam Lambert, Stacey Barthe, Eric Benet, Jasmine Sullivan, Andra Day, 98 Degrees (Jay Leno “Tonight Show”), TGT (Tyrese, Genuine, and Tank), El Debarge, Little Dicky, Rich Homie Quan, Chante Moore, Timothy Bloom, Leon Thomas II, ZZ Ward, Cody Simpson (Good Morning America, Ellen, Live! with Kelly and Michael) and a top selling artist from London andGrammy award winning artist, Estelle.
Tarron is currently playing for former Disney star and recording artist Demi Lovato. He has played a number of shows with her including her World Tour, Future Now Tour, TV shows, and more. The most recent highlight of Tarron’s career is playing the State Dinner hosted by President Obama at the White House in Washington, DC.
