"Reunion Blues cases strike the perfect balance between protection and comfort. Whether I’m heading to a local session or flying out for a tour, I know my gear is safe — and thanks to the Zero-G handle, carrying it never feels like a burden."
Shunta is a multi-genre guitarist and producer whose sound seamlessly blends R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Rock. Originally from Japan and now based in New York City, he has become known for his expressive style, technical precision, and ability to adapt across genres and stages.
Since relocating to NYC in 2013, Shunta has collaborated with a range of internationally recognized and Grammy-winning artists, including Big Daddy Kane, Jamila Woods, Martin Garrix, and Mike Yung. His performances have taken him to renowned venues such as Blue Note NYC, The Paramount, Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall (Los Angeles), Eventim Apollo (London), and Olympic Hall (Seoul, Korea). He has also appeared on major broadcast stages, including America’s Got Talent (Season 12), The Late Late Show with James Corden, After Empire on Fox 5, and European programs like C à Vous (France) and vpro Vrije Geluiden (Netherlands).
In 2019, he joined Mike Yung on a U.S. and six-country European tour, and performed at the 10th Dresden Peace Prize ceremony — an event attended by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and global dignitaries. Most recently, in 2025, Shunta served as the lead guitarist on BoyWithUke’s Burnout World Tour, playing over 40 shows across 10 countries.
Currently focused on his solo project, Shunta continues to push sonic boundaries — bringing a global perspective, deep musicality, and a refined artistic voice to every stage and session.
