"As a touring musician, having a Reunion Blues case gives me serious peace of mind. Whether I’m bringing it on a flight or squeezing it into a packed car next to heavy gear, I know it’s built to handle the journey: super solid construction, premium outer material, and zero stress on my shoulder.

Their Expedition semi-hollow guitar case fits my 33-inch scale bass (total length: 44 inches) perfectly. It makes my life easier — one less thing to worry about, and more space to focus on the music.

On top of all that, their support is exceptional. You can really trust a product when it’s made by people who stand behind it.

This is a total game-changer for musicians!"

Born in Kobe, Japan, and currently based in New York City, Moto Fukushima is a six-string bass player, composer, and shamisen player.

In 2024, he was nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the Grammy Awards for On Becoming by House of Waters — a testament to his unique and evolving sound. He received the Outstanding Performer Award before graduating from Berklee College of Music, and his musical style blends Western classical music, traditional Japanese music, and African-inspired rhythms from South America — all of which shine through in his jazz improvisation. His playing is widely recognized for its finesse, subtlety, and power.

Moto co-leads the Grammy-nominated trio House of Waters, which has released three studio albums on the Grammy Award-winning group Snarky Puppy's GroundUP label. Their debut reached #2 on the iTunes World Music chart, and the follow-up climbed to #4 on the iTunes Jazz chart.

Moto’s music has been featured in the Sports Emmy Award-winning segment on ESPN’s E60, and he placed 3rd in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition. He is also a recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award.

His distinctive voice as a bassist has led to collaborations with a wide range of artists, including Mike Stern, Leni Stern, Karsh Kale, Dave Weckl, Dave Eggar, the Big Apple Circus, Alex Skolnick, and Gil Goldstein. He also performed on Dave Eggar’s Grammy-nominated album Kingston Morning.

Moto is proudly endorsed by Adamovic Basses, Aguilar Amplification, Adamovic Strings, LK Straps, Focusrite, Avid Sibelius, ORB Cable, Caveman pedals, Xvive and Reunion Blues.
