Loli Molina, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based in Mexico City, is a celebrated singer-songwriter and guitarist, performing in major venues throughout latin America and having won MTV  awards, twice being nominated to Argentina's Gardel Awards, and receiving acclaim from fellow musicians and critics across genres. Loli’s formal training came in Argentina, studying classical, jazz, and popular guitar, styles she has woven into her own unique approach to voice and guitar.

From a young age Loli has shared recording studios and performances with luminaries from Kevin Johansen, Nano Stern, Fito Páez, Santiago Vázquez, Fernando Cabrera, Ximena Sariñana  and Juan Quintero and many more.

... "Loli Molina, who left the limiting world of promising pop to express herself in a scene much more broad of guitarist and singer, very refined, but also very bold "...

Says Nano Stern:

... "Loli is an entity, a medium that we do not know which planet came to visit us from. I met her because of mutual friends in music who said i had to meet her. So, trusting, I went and I met her. the we sang the whole night and we have continued to sing whole nights every time we see each other. I have I learned a lot from her. I admire her as a musician and as a being. And sharing music with her is like entering a parenthesis in which time does not pass, in which space stops for a moment and everything is still vibration. I hope we will be great friends until we are old and we will be making lots of music of music together until then!”…

After two albums released by Sony Music Argentina, Loli began walking a new path of professional and musical independence and self-management, the product being her third album, the acclaimed “Rubí", released in August 2015, by the indie label Ropeadope Sur (Mx-Usa).  On the day of its release, Rubí was number one in sales in iTunes Argentina and eventually  was again nominated for the Gardel awards.

... "On her third album, Rubí (2015), Loli Molina finds a more complex, climatic, introspective form of song, with elaborate guitar work, a step away from pop music "...

(Sebastián Espósito, La Nación)

... "Curious is the case of this singer who says to move more comfortable as a guitarist and as a composer than as an interpreter of his music. She was "discovered" by a multinational label, edited two albums and, by not achieving the results she wanted, she let it go. Rubí is more than her third album, it is the work of a great artist, a animal that was in captivity and knew very well how to reinsert itself in its natural habitat "...

In 2014, Loli participated as guest guitarist and guest singer of the Mexican group Kinky in the recording of their MTV Unplugged, work that received a Latin Grammy  nomination, also performing on the following tour as both opener as a solo act and with Kinky  and band.

In 2015 Molina realized two tours performing with her own band at major festivals- Ceiba  in Tabasco to Festival Calaveras  in Aguascalientes - in Mexico. She participated as a singer in the Symphonic Homage to Gustavo Cerati in Buenos Aires, directed by Alejandro Terán  with musicians such as Richard Coleman, Lisandro Aristimuño, and Elena Roger. 2016 was a year of sold out concert halls in a large part of Argentina and also Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Mexico, an intense year, which closed with a full house show at ND Theater  in Buenos Aires for a debut show of Loli and string quartet.

2017 was the year of “Convidados “ a duo tour with Chico Cesar, and eminent figure in Brazilian popular music and culture. Loli was invited to participate in the Symphonic Tribute to Violeta Parra  performed at the Teatro Colon  in Buenos Aires. She also introduced a new project, a tribute to Chet Baker, releasing the EP "I Fall in Love too Easily " recorded with renowned musicians from the jazz scene in Mexico City.

Chico César says ...

"We are all delighted when we hear her songs appear, they shine and travel across everybody when she appears alone with her voice and guitar "

Loli has recently received the sponsorship of Fender  guitars, becoming an ambassador to Latin America for the legendary brand of American guitars.

With strength and delicacy, a restless mind, a virtuousic guitar and a sensitive voice, Loli is preparing new material to present in 2018: two new albums and tours with a project of her own songs and another more based in the Jazz repertoire, for Latin America, Europe and USA.
