Logan Miles Nix has over 15 years of professional touring and recording experience in the US and overseas alongside artists such as John 5 and The Creatures, Ryan McGarvey, Katy Rose, Eric Doney, Chris Vadala, Ryan Montaño, All Gone Dead and Claudio Toulouse amongst others, Logan Miles Nix is an award-winning Los Angeles based drummer, producer and sound engineer. His career has taken him from his home town in Albuquerque – where he started playing drums at the age of 10 and was soon winning awards for “Best Drum Performance” and “Best Jazz Improvisation” at the Albuquerque Jazz Festival and University of New Mexico Jazz Festival – to performing internationally acclaimed festivals and stages.
After accepting a full ride scholarship to The University of New Mexico, Logan quickly became “the go-to percussionist”, playing in Classical, Contemporary and Jazz ensembles. Soon afterwards the road called and Logan joined international acts, traveling throughout the USA, Canada, South America, China and the Caribbean, opening for artists such as Peter Frampton, John Legend, Shawn Mendes and Bea Miller to mention a few. Between 2013 and 2020 Logan has played over 800 tour dates and festivals including Eric Clapton’s ‘Crossroads’, ‘Samsung Best of the Blues’ with Tom Morello and Joe Bonamassa’s ‘Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea’ Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises.
While off the road, Logan maintains a busy schedule producing, engineering and co-writing as well as teaching at his personal studio in North Hollywood, CA. Logan has worked with clients from all over the world such as LinkedIn, Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Coca-Cola, providing drum tracks and post-production and in 2015 he was nominated "Producer of the Year" at the New Mexico Music Awards (NMMA).
