Harper Guitars
Harper Guitars was founded in 2013. We are a custom guitar shop located in Southern Indiana. Jacob Harper (Owner & Master Luthier) is a Kentucky native hailing from a small town in Western Kentucky. Jacob has an extensive career in music as well as a solid design background.
“Although the first 20 years of my professional career was spent working in architecture and engineering, I’ve always loved to play music and have enjoyed the relationships I’ve had with my fellow musicians. At some point in my life I decided that I had the technical and artistic skills to make my own instrument, and that was the game changer. After realizing how fulfilling it was to make a custom guitar that was tailored to my needs and wants I decided to offer that option to others. A custom guitar should be an extension of the musician playing it. It should enhance and complement the artist’s talent.”
