“I got my first Reunion Blues bag back in 2013, and it lasted five years of constant use before I finally replaced it — only because I was so impressed I went right back to another one. They’ve survived Broadway stages, writers’ rounds, airplanes, and life on the road. I don’t trust my gear in anything else.”
Conner Sweet is carrying forward the torch of ’90s country storytelling, blending timeless tradition with a modern perspective shaped by years on Nashville stages. Rooted in authenticity, faith, and lived experience, his music reflects the emotional honesty and blue-collar storytelling that built country music’s foundation while carving out a sound distinctly his own.
By age 16, Sweet was already performing in Nashville honky-tonks, developing his craft in front of live audiences night after night. Years spent on Nashville’s Lower Broadway — one of country music’s toughest proving grounds — sharpened his commanding stage presence and songwriter’s instinct, building the experience and professionalism that continue to define his live performances today.
Sweet’s songwriting has earned cuts from artists including Tracy Lawrence (“Don’t Drink Whiskey”) and Coffey Anderson (“Tailgate”), and he has been featured in Storme Warren’s Stories Behind The Songs series through Exit 209. Following the devastating Nashville tornadoes of 2020, Sweet co-wrote and released “Times Like These,” which charted at #37 on Billboard’s Country Indicator and #22 on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart — marking a defining milestone for an independent artist built from the stage up.
With a ’90s country soul and proven industry traction, Conner Sweet represents an artist committed to honoring country music’s storytelling legacy while building one of his own.
