"I love my Reunion Blues guitar gig bag so much! It's slick, comfortable and keeps my baby safe at all times"

Known for her impressive musical skills and contributions to the rock music industry, Carmen Vandenberg was born in London, England, in 1992, began playing guitar at the age of nine, and quickly became passionate about music.

In 2014, Vandenberg formed the rock band “Bones” with lead singer Rosie Bones. The duo’s unique blend of rock, blues, and soul quickly earned them a devoted following, and they went on to open for legendary rockers such as Jeff Beck and The Who.

Vandenberg’s guitar playing style is characterized by her technical proficiency, impressive speed, and ability to blend various genres seamlessly. She cites influential guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Jimmy Page as inspirations for her playing.

Aside from her work with Bones, Vandenberg has collaborated with other artists such as Roger Taylor from Queen, and she was invited to play guitar on stage with David Gilmour during his 2016 “Rattle That Lock” tour.

The depth of Vandenberg’s musicality—and the guitarist’s penchant for the blues—caught the attention of her mentor Jeff Beck, who asked BONES to co-write his 2016 album, Loud Hailer, and to perform with him on tour. For the occasion, Vandenberg pulled off the mean feat of assimilating scores of songs from Beck’s 1970s catalog, accompanying him onstage in performances of classics like “Blue Wind” and “Freeway Jam.” Carmen joined Jeff Beck’s band as his rhythm guitarist along with Rhonda Smith on bass and Jonathan Joseph on drums.

Her band, alongside co-founder Rosie, "BONES continues to make their own music, music videos, artworks and luck. Go see them Live. Get ready to BONED"
