"Let me put it this way: I'd be really suprised to find a more protecting, better looking, longer lasting and better engineered gig bag appropriate to carry around guitars I spent a fortune on, day in day out. And believe me: I had to dump enough of those so called professional gigbags over the years to complain with a straight face about a by all means very reasonable price. Bottom line: I'm set!"
Hannover-based Guitarist Florian Poeschko studied Jazz-Guitar, Classical Guitar and Jazz-Arrangement/Composition with Werner Neumann, Thomas Fellow, Joachim Schoenecker and Richie Beirach besides pursuing private studies with Julia Hlsmann, Frank Moebus and Florian Ross. In the meantime he attended masterclasses with Bret Wilmott, Peter Bernstein and Wayne Krantz amongst others.
He had stage appearances with artists like Benny Golson, Michael Abene, Charlie Mariano, Dennis Rowland or Gary Winters and in venues like the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Luzerna Bar Prague, the Langnau Jazz-Nights in Switzerland, Jazzclub Henkelmann Iserlohn and the Musikmesse Frankfurt. Besides being a faculty member of the Staatliche Hochschule fr Musik und Theater Leipzig and the Music College Hannover he currently prepares the first two volumes of a publication aiding the professional training of electric guitarists, soon to be published by the Friedrich Hofmeister Verlag, one of Germany's oldest publishers of sheet music and music didactics since 1807.
When it comes to playing guitar, he currently enjoys challenging himself as a gun for hire on stage and in the studio in a wide range of genres from contemporary chamber music to rock, pop and jazz-ensembles.
