"With Reunion Blues cases, we finally have a way of keeping our guitars confidently protected while they bounce around on the road, without the added weight and warping of traditional hard cases."
DAKOTA is a metalcore band from Santa Rosa, CA. Formed from the ashes of the band Names in Numbers, founding members include Brandon Campbell (guitar), Jan Pechbrenner (bass) and Leo Callagy (drums). The lineup was completed in late 2012 when former members of local band Lambs Become Lions; Harley Stears (vocals) and Michael Tishler (guitar) joined the band. DAKOTA made its debut concert appearance as main support for This or The Apocalypse on October 25th, 2012 at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, CA. Following their explosive break onto the North Bay Music scene they released their first EP entitled "LEGACY" May 21st, 2013.
DAKOTA has made a big impact on the North Bay music scene over their first year, playing countless shows in northern California and making big waves on the internet. In its short time, the band has encountered its share of trials. Parting ways with drummer Leo Callagy in the summer of 2013, the band seeks a new member to fill the void. Though a big hit for the band, DAKOTA continues to hold their momentum. They continue to play shows, and are hard at work on a new EP that pushes the bounds of their metalcore roots. The world can look forward to the new single entitled "California Smiley" dropping early in January 2014, to be followed shortly by a brand new EP and touring outside of the bay area.
