Bassist Kevin Scott has been a fixture on the Atlanta music scene for over a decade, and is always expanding his musical and geographic reach. Whether performing live or in the studio, as a leader or a sideman, his musical knowledge and creative spirit have made him a first call in many circles, from jazz to funk and from hip-hop to metal.
He has toured and/or recorded with a wide variety of artists including Jimmy Herring, Donny McCaslin, Akon, Col. Bruce Hampton, Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics, Gary Husband, Grammy nominee Russell Gunn, and legendary guitarist Wayne Krantz. He is the co-founder and co-leader of the Atlanta Funk Society, and host of the Tuesday jam session at Elliot St. Pub, an improvised, no-holds- barred weekly meeting of musicians from all genres and backgrounds.”
