“I received the Reunion Blues bag yesterday and it’s really nice! Considering a scenario of carrying multiple instruments around at once especially, or putting it into a smaller car/space, far preferable to a hard case!”
A former tenured member of the world-renowned Houston Symphony string section, Christine Wu relocated to Los Angeles in 2006 and quickly became one of the most sought after musicians in today’s recording, television, and film industries. Her signature style combines virtuosity from her classical background with finesse for adapting the violin to a broad range of musical genres.
An accomplished ballerina and yogi, Christine has been known to incorporate acrobatics into her performances and can play the violin while dancing en pointe.
Christine can be seen regularly on hit network shows such as The Voice, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, The Tonight Show, and the GRAMMY Awards Telecast. She’s performed with such legendary artists as Beyoncé, Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Bono, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, and Barbara Streisand, to name a few.
When not performing live, Christine works behind the scenes composing original string arrangements for rock, pop, country, urban records, film and gaming soundtracks, and commercial jingles.
Always on the go, what Christine appreciates the most about her Reunion Blues cello bag is that it’s streamlined and lightweight.
